Alex Vanderberg

Alex Vandenberg is equally at home in the courtroom and in the boardroom, his law practice encompassing both litigation and corporate transactional matters. His work product, legal advice, and approach to problem-solving for clients all reflect, and benefit from, his firsthand appreciation of, and sensitivity to, both types of perspectives in helping clients address vexing and challenging problems now so common in the commercial marketplace. He is also adept at assisting clients with state and federal administrative law and agency proceedings, from responding to regulatory and enforcement matters, to guiding clients through such processes.

He began his career in the C-suite, assisting in the founding, establishment, financing, and day- to-day management of businesses in a wide range of industries. Along the way, he mastered nearly every major and common business and accounting software, developed firsthand experience in assembling and supervising a workforce, and became proficient in accounting, compliance with regulatory rules, and adept at working with outside legal counsel in dealing with legal issues common to businesses operating in multiple jurisdictions.

By the time he became a lawyer and entered the practice of law, his nearly unique background and range of experience translated into a level of advice and counsel not often seen among lawyers, generally. He sees matters from the perspective of the business client, as much as from the perspective of a lawyer, and he is as familiar with the demands of the C-suite, as he is with the rough & tumble of the courtroom, where agreements and business plans get put to the test.
